From Pre-K through 12th Grade, My Body, My Identity: Discovering God’s Design helps educators discuss important but sensitive topics from a traditional, Biblical perspective.
It is designed to teach Christian values in ways that are appropriate for different age groups.

The Solution: My Body, My Identity
A Curriculum for Changing Our Culture
From Pre-K through 12th Grade, My Body, My Identity: Discovering God’s Design helps educators discuss important but sensitive topics from a traditional, Biblical perspective. It is designed to teach Christian values in ways that are appropriate for different age groups.
The upper levels of My Body, My Identity include specific lessons on abortion, transgenderism, homosexuality, promiscuity, and pornography.
Grounded in the Bible and the Theology of the Body, and created by an ecumenical team of Christian experts, this program teaches that we are made by God and should live according to His design.

With over 25 years of teaching and catechetical experience, Monica Ashour, M.T.S., M Hum. has built a team of experts in childhood development, children’s literature, graphic design, and curriculum expertise, that has made possible the achievement of its groundbreaking programs, The Body Matters and My Body, My Identity: Discovering God’s Design.

Benefit 1

However, key concepts are reviewed so that students will not be greatly disadvantaged by missing previous books and videos in the series.

Who is it For?
The Discovery series (PreK-2nd Grade) and Journey series (3rd-5th Grade) include enjoyable storybooks and animated videos that convey content through fictional stories. They don’t directly address abortion, transgenderism, homosexuality, pornography or promiscuity.
The two programs do lay the foundation for discussion by exploring Life, Male & Female, Family, the Body, and Marriage.
The Design series (6th-8th Grade) and Identity series (9th-12th Grade) use documentary-style explainers and expert interviews to dive into more of the nuances of discussing abortion, homosexuality, pornography, promiscuity, and transgenderism.

PreK-2nd Grade
Design Series: 10 Explainer Videos
These wholesome storybooks introduce children to a positive and healthy view of Christian life.
They do not directly talk about controversial topics. For example, Discovering the Wonder of Life teaches children about the miracle of life in the womb without mentioning abortion.
These storybooks, along with teacher guides, can easily fit into any curriculum and help lay the foundation for a Christian worldview.

3rd-5th Grade
Discovery Series: 5 Original Storybooks
These videos do not directly talk about controversial topics.
For example, Journey in the Womb teaches children about the miracle of life in the womb without mentioning abortion.
These animations, along with teacher guides, can easily fit into any curriculum and help lay the foundation for a Christian worldview.

6th-8th Grade
Design Series: 10 Explainer Videos
These enjoyable videos explain Christian responses to sensitive topics.
Includes explanations and interviews from TOBET team members and various experts.

9th-12th Grade
Identity Series: Explainer Videos and Expert Interviews
These enjoyable videos explain Christian responses to sensitive topics.
